On the July 8 broadcast of Mnet’s World Street Woman Fighter (SWF3), dancers Honey J and Aiki met with the Australian team AG Squad to personally apologize for the profanity controversy that erupted last month.

She visited AG SQUAD’s room and humbly apologized, receiving a kind and comforting response from Danica, who said, “It’s okay.” Aiki also followed suit, approaching Aaliyah and offering a quiet apology. Aaliyah embraced her, replying, “Don’t be. It’s fine, really.”

Other AG SQUAD members, including Kyra and Kaea, responded with empathy and light-heartedness, “Don’t worry. We weren’t upset. You know us — we don’t take things to heart. We love you, too. We say stuff as well.”

The controversy began when Hyojin Choi, a fellow Team BUMSUP member, uploaded a YouTube review video where Honey J criticized AG SQUAD’s Danica battle, saying, “Is that even dancing? It’s just sexy X.” Aiki echoed the sentiment with explicit language, further intensifying online outrage. The clip was widely condemned for being dismissive and offensive toward the international crew.

In response, both Honey J and Aiki issued formal apologies via social media, admitting to their “careless and inappropriate remarks.” They emphasized that they were reflecting deeply and extended sincere apologies to AG SQUAD and their supporters.

AG SQUAD accepted the apologies with grace and dignity. The crew stated that everything was “resolved respectfully on site,” bringing the matter to a peaceful conclusion and showcasing the professionalism and maturity of all parties involved.

After the emotional exchange, Honey J reflected on the responsibility they now carry, “We really can’t let people down anymore. We have to work even harder. Even if our Mega Crew mission went well, there’s still a real chance we could be eliminated.”
